Two weeks · Fixed price
AI Audit for Startups & Small Businesses
Two weeks to find out exactly where AI will pay off in your business — and where it won't. You get a prioritised roadmap and a buildable technical spec, not a slide deck of AI trends.
Who this is for
Non-technical founders
You know AI should be part of the product, but you can't tell which ideas are buildable and which are demo-ware.
Owners running on manual process
Your team retypes the same data, chases the same calls, and fills the same spreadsheets every week.
Startups with AI on the roadmap
It's on the plan for next quarter, but nobody has scoped what it costs or whether the data exists.
What you actually get
Six concrete deliverables. Everything is yours to keep, whether or not we work together afterwards.
Process map
How your operations actually run today, written down — usually the first time anyone has done this.
Prioritised opportunity list
Every candidate for automation, scored on implementation effort against business impact.
Feasibility assessment
For each opportunity: does the data exist, what would it cost to run, and what could go wrong.
A buildable technical spec
For the top one or two opportunities — architecture, integrations, and scope, detailed enough to hand to any developer.
Cost and timeline estimates
What each recommendation would take to build and run, so you can budget before you commit.
Walkthrough call
We go through the findings together, and you keep the documents either way.
How it works
Discovery
Days 1–3
Interviews with you and the people doing the work daily. I map the current process end to end, including the parts that only live in someone’s head.
Analysis
Days 4–7
Where does time actually go, what data already exists, and which steps are genuinely repeatable. This is where most "AI opportunities" turn out to be data problems.
Roadmap
Days 8–11
Opportunities scored and ranked on effort versus impact, with feasibility and running costs attached to each one.
Handover
Days 12–14
Technical spec for the highest-value work, plus a walkthrough call. You own everything produced.
What this isn’t
Most AI audits conclude that you need AI, because that is what the people writing them sell. Here is what you won’t get from this one.
Not a pitch for AI
If your bottleneck is a paper diary or a spreadsheet, the honest answer is to fix that first. AI applied to a business with no usable data is expensive theatre, and I will tell you so.
Not a trends deck
No slides about what large language models might do for your industry. Everything is specific to processes I have watched your team actually run.
Not always a model
Plenty of what gets sold as AI is a scheduled script, a database view, or an integration between two tools you already pay for. Those recommendations are cheaper, and they are still in the report.
Why me
I build production software, not strategy decks. Most recently that meant a multi-tenant AI voice platform where an agent answers business phone lines, holds a real conversation, checks live availability, and books appointments on its own — running across six countries with bilingual Arabic and English support.
That matters here for one reason: the spec is written by the person who would have to build it. Recommendations stay tied to what actually ships, what it costs to run, and what breaks at three in the morning — not to what sounds good in a workshop.
It also means I know when the answer is no. I have talked clients out of AI features that would have been slower and less reliable than the boring integration sitting next to them.
